Just to clarify, this is the page for conversing during the summer for all future NHMS 8th grade students. If you have birthday invitations, photos/videos that you wish to share, or even if you are just bored, this is the page to talk to people!

DeleteHi guys! Sorry I haven't visited the site in a while, stupid stomach flu has made my life kinda hectic up to now. One, about the personal pix... agreed. Jake, I'll send you a pic of myself via text as soon as possible. Two, I'll try my hand at the Caripledge of Allegiance and making a video about it. Sounds like a great deal of fun to me. And three... should I bring my filming equipment to the party? It would only be my camera and tripod, but the camera's pretty heavy and delicate, so it would kinda be a bother to lug it around. If you guys wanna film anything at all. Just throwing that out there.

DeleteJust to clarify, you don't have to bring your camera equipment because we already have a great camera and tripod. Also, the start time for the party is being changed from 2:30PM to 3:30PM, and try to meet at the pool, which you should see on the way to my house. DeletePerfect! Just to verify, I am quite pleased, since my camera costs quite a bit. AND it weighs, like, fifteen pounds. As for the ClariPledge of Allegiance, I think I've got a high-quality first draft:

And you have to say "Dorad" in the second line like "Do-rad." Enunciate the syllables.

ReplyDeleteThe line after "to Dorad" is way too long. I mean, try saying it at the original pledge's pace. I think we should keep the first three lines in mine the same, only change America to Gensokyo. As for the rest, I don't think we should mention the Clible, personally, since it's kinda too much for a single pledge. Otherwise, keeping some of my lines and adding some of yours, this is how I would make it:

ReplyDeleteHiya peeps, I've started editing the video (as of today; this whole week has been friggin' hectic) so, as I'm determined to finish before I go to France tomorrow, I'm gonna be working hard on it today. First, an opiniated matter I wanted everyone's opinion on: background music or no background music?

DeleteDid you get my first and second emails? In the first, I sent all the raw bids, and in the second email I sent my edited version of the first movie that we made, with authentic gun sounds and bloopers. Could you add more visual effects? Music is fine, as long as it is softer than our voices in the movies. If you have any trouble using the links, tell me and I will try to figure it out.
Also, we should (as in the clarifism group) get together to film some stuff like the story of clarifism origins or the claripledge of allegiance. How about July 4 or July 5?

The editing program I use is a trade secret, as no one besides Phine and I (and maybe his older sister) know, and we intend to keep it that way. I will tell you, however, that it took four months of allowance to even come close to buying it. You could probably find some cheaper ones, though.
